Rental/Participation in any water sport or charter exposes the participant to certain risks and dangers. Accidents and injuries (superficial to fatal) resulting from the forces of Mother Nature, other boaters (both power and sail), malfunctioning equipment, unseen obstacles, fatigue, and your own misjudgment are a very real possibility. Bedrock Global considers safety to be its utmost concern and as such, its staff includes individuals trained in life-saving, water safety instruction, C.P.R., and Red Cross First Aid. The nature of these sports, however, makes it impossible to foresee and protect the participant from all conceivable dangers associated with water and water sports. Once the participant leaves the safety of the shore and enters the water, he/she must be prepared to assume all risks associated therewith. AFFIRMATION AND LIABILITY RELEASE THE UNDERSIGNED CERTIFY THAT THEY HAVE READ THE FOREGOING PRIOR TO THE SIGNING THEREOF AND AGREE AS FOLLOWS: 1. I hereby affirm that I understand the inherent dangers of JetCar rental, Charter Cruises, and Sailing. 2. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bedrock Global, and staff, and the State of North Carolina, Wyoming, California, and all of the State’s representatives, and the Department of Natural Resources from any and all liability for any harm, injury, death, or damages (physical, mental, or monetary), regardless of fault or negligence, which may befall me while participating in this charter or while using Bedrock Global equipment. This release shall be binding upon my family, heirs, and administrators. 3. The undersigned hereby agrees to wear a life vest. 4. I hereby agree to heed at all times the advice and instructions of Bedrock Global staff and to practice common sense water safety procedures. 5. To the extent provided by State Law, I also freely and voluntarily waive all claims for damages or loss to my person or property, or the person or property of third parties, that may be caused by an act, or failure to act, of the State’s DNR or its agents and employees, and release the State’s DNR and the aforementioned states from any and all claims. • All renters are required to bring a Valid Government Issued Photo I.D. that includes date of birth (ages 18 and older). No photocopies or photos will be accepted. • Renters are required to bring 1 Credit Card that matches the renters I.D. per reservation. • Renters MUST be at least 18 years old to participate. • Renters must be present at the pick-up location 10 minutes before their reservation time. • Two guests are allowed per JetCar and cannot exceed a total combined weight of 420 lbs. • All participants must complete and sign the Liability Waiver before starting the ride! - RENTER CANNOT PARTICIPATE IF THEY: • Possess or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol • Are pregnant • Have any existing medical conditions that put them or others at risk • Are unable to follow any spoken instructions. YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO USE THE JETCAR FOR YOUR RESERVATION IF YOU DO NOT BRING A CARD MATCHING WITH YOUR VALID PHOTO I.D. - NO EXCEPTIONS! - REFUNDS • No refunds will be issued if you don't show up or cancel your reservation! • If you cannot make it to your reservation you must notify us 24 hours ahead and we can reschedule your reservation to our next available slot but no refunds will be issued. • Due to weather conditions , we may issue a refund or reschedule the day of your reservation . Please be aware that we have the right to charge the card used for the reservation payment for any damages done to the JetCar for which the renter refuses to pay.
